His debut match on September 7, 2006, saw him win against Big Bully Douglas. He later became the enforcer for the tag team Urban Assault, which included Eric Perez and Sonny Siaki. However, their feud with The Bag Lady led to their loss of the tag team championships.
In early 2007, Murdoch formed a tag team with Freakin’ Deacon, and the duo won several matches. He was released from WWE in February 2008.
NXT and Del Rio Alliance (2010–2011)
Murdoch returned to WWE in January 2010, joining Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).
